Group size, class frequency and course duration

The price and duration of our courses depend on the group size and number of lessons per week. All courses (i.e. level courses, exam preparation courses, grammar refresh courses and conversational courses) can be booked as one-to-one or semi-private lessons or as a mini-group course.

Price overview

We offer level courses for beginners and intermediate and advanced students, as well as exam preparation, conversation and grammar refresh courses. All our courses can be taken as a mini-group course or in one-to-one or semi-private lessons.
The course length and price of the various options are summarised in the table below.

*In one-to-one and semi-private courses, the number of lessons required depend heavily on the students. Therefore, the information given in the table regarding price and course duration represents an estimate based on experience.

Mini-group course
Effective, focussed and to the point

Mini group courses are staged with 3 or 4 participants. Lessons last 40 minutes and price CHF 27. Class take place once, twice or three times a week.

In our mini group courses, every student gets their say, nobody is left behind. Our teachers ensure that everyone is actively involved in class. Thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and low number of students, class is productive and intense and the time requirement minimal.

One-to-one lessons
Flexible and tailored to your needs

With one-to-one lessons you get to decide when and how often class takes place. Let us know what your aims and time considerations are and we will work out a course program that corresponds to your needs.

One to one lessons are perfect for students who are unable to commit to a group course that takes place on the same days and at the same times every week or to students who require lessons tailored to their particular needs and aims. The teacher and the student agree on the frequency, days and times of the lessons.

One-to-one lessons last 60 minutes and price CHF 96. Depending on your needs and available time, individual sessions can last 60, 90 or 120 minutes.

Semi-Private Courses
Flexible and tailored to your needs

Semi-Private courses are staged with 2 or 3 students, who usually already know each other. The courses are geared towards friends, couples and families who wish to learn a foreign language together. In the interest of conducive lessons, all the students should have a similar level of prior knowledge. Further, the students’ course aims should ideally be the same.

Semi-private lessons last 60 minutes and price CHF 51 or 36 per person according to the number of students.
