Rome wasn’t built in a day and foreign languages aren’t learned in a day either. Not everybody has a knack for languages in general and what’s more people also have different strengths and weaknesses within language in specific. Some are good at reading, writing and grammar, others are better at speaking and listening. To master a new language, all four skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening) must be trained. For this reason, we have developed our own teaching approach over the years, in which grammar is viewed not as an end. Grammar is important in as far that it represents the rules of the game. The aim, however, is to play the game and improve one’s skills with each round.
